Dorothy L. Maddy Scholarship Fund
The Stained Glass School of the Stained Glass Association of America offers two scholarships:
- The Dorothy L. Maddy Scholarship consists of one award up to $1000 to a student enrolled in an academic program. Deadline: June 1.
- The Dorothy L. Maddy Workshop/Seminar Scholarship consists of the award of funds for hands-on short-term workshops and classes; applicants must have stained glass experience. Deadline: June 1.

Stained glass is an art form that is not entirely known and not really common especially in my world,which is West Africa,GHANA maybe because of its ‘simple complexities’.However having come across two books centering on stained glass and how it is made,I have developed a keen interest in it.Being an artist it is a joy to discover various mediums,not that one could ever fully exploit those on my continent and in my environment but a foreign meduim/art is always met with sheer pleasure.I would love to find a way to work into your scholarship scheme,you have my address.Please do contact me it would be a great honour for us both.And yes I do know this is not a comment but an opportunity is an opportunity.Merci beaucoup.
